Stick your comments where the server don't shine
I am sure I am not the only person who is
noticing this right now, but it freaked my shit out. I just posted about stoopid
annoying questions, and wondered if there were any stoopid annoying comments
left for me on the blog, and noticed that my comments hyperlinks were ALL
missing from my index and every other page of this blog. Was this a weird glitch
in iBlog code (I have experienced my share of those in the past nine months)? I
went to Haloscan, which hosts my commenting feature, and tried to follow the
link to manage comments, and got a message that there is "Server work in
progress. We'll be right back."
Just to make sure that this was the cause for my disappearing comments links, I went back to green tea (because I know she uses Haloscan, too) and her "feedback" links are all gone, as well. Whew, at least I know what is happening...

Wouldn't it be nice if Haloscan sent out some
kind of proactive server down message to users/bloggers if this were planned?
Assuming it is planned, I suppose...
