I have a state-of-the-art Nikon N90s 35mm autofocus SLR. I'm not trying to start a Nikon vs. Canon war, but based on my research, this is the preferred film camera for QTVR.

Secondary Rig - Digital

I have a 4.1 mega-pixel Olympus C-4040 Zoom digital camera, with a maximum image size of 2272 x 1704. Olympus has been the top choice in digital cameras for the past few years. The lens has a 35mm equivalent range of 35mm - 105mm. I have 16MB & 128MB Smart Media cards to store the panoramas.

Post Production

Capturing the data is only the first step in generating the data. Preparing the data for delivery is just as important. I also have a complete DV system for video work.

I also run an iMac DV SE (snow), an IBM Thinkpad 1451, and have a 750 Mhz Pentium III with 384 Meg RAM, using a removable hard drive system to run multiple OSes, including Windows 2003 Server, XP Professional, ME, NT 4 Server, and various Linux distributions, including Red Hat Linux 9. You can never have enough computers!
