Experiment, October 1997. This was an exploration with using only the base plug-ins that shipped with Photoshop. I wanted to see what could be achieved without resorting to expensive 3rd party plug-ins. This idea was taken from a UK music magazine that would treat it's cover title in a similar fashion each month. It's worth mentioning that this was done before "Layer Styles", which would extremely simplify the process. Here's the original 3D text before filtering effects (40 KB, 873 X 196). |

An 8 x 10 over 25 years old was scanned and repaired. The color tint was corrected and many tears were patched. Output as an 8 x 10 inch Lambda print. |

From a 110 film print (3.5 x 4.25 inch) over 30 years old, an 8 x 10 inch Lambda print was produced. Genuine Fractal was used to increase the resolution, and various flaws in the photo were corrected. |
