Macintosh Troubleshooting.
Having problems with your Mac. Check out the information and links
below.
Ok, so your Mac computer isn't working right and you want it fixed.
Take the following steps and at least determine what is wrong with
your Mac. If the problem is software related we will take the steps
to fix it. If it is hardware then you may have to replace the
broken equipment.
- The first thing
that you do is isolate the problem. For example, if your mouse
isn't working, take it to another computer and see if it works on
that computer. If it does, then the mouse isn't the problem. You
have just eliminated the mouse as the problem. Continuing with this
example if you have another mouse try that one. If the second mouse
doesn't work then we need to look at the computer.
- Isolating the
problem in software can be done many ways. The first thing you do
is to reboot/restart the computer without any 3rd party
applications loading. Depending on your problem, another way to
isolate the problem is to create another user log in and check to
see if the problem shows up in this new account.
