The race will be held
on the The Thenon
Speedway, about 70 feet of road course
with long straights on a 5x12 table, timing with laptimer 2000, controller used
will be a Parma Electronic Controller, voltage will be set at 7V. With these
settings the best time to date on the track with an Artin car is at about 6.9
secs. Most stock Artin cars will lap in about 7.5 to 8 secs.
Qualifying: April 29
Class 1 and Class 2: April 30
Limited Modified Class: May 1
Cars must be received by April 29, close of business (5:00 pm Pacific Time). If you need my

Entry fee: $3 for the
first car (any class), $1 per additional car. A maximum of two cars per person
may be entered in each class. Entry fee is used to cover return postage to

Class 1: Porsche GT2 or
Porsche 930 body on small tire chassis.
Class 2: Any Artin stock
body (but preferrably a GT or LM type car, the so-called "sporty
cars") on large tire stock Artin chassis, using the front wheels in the
middle of the three holes for the front axle.
Limited Modified Class:
Any body you want (Artin or not) on any Artin chassis (chassis can be modified
to extend the wheel base within the limits shown in the rules)

There will be a concours prize for the best paint/livery job across
classes. Entrants will have to e-mail me 4 pictures of one of their cars
(top-angle, side, front, rear as shown here)
and will then be judged on these pictures. Only one car can be entered by each
contestant.
Each judge will have 10 points to allocate as he wants among the
various entries. The honorable judges are: Brian Schindler, Rich MacMahon
(RMMseven), and Harry Wise (yes, the HomeRacingWorld fearless leader).

What’s a proxy race? In a
proxy race you ship/mail your cars to a track owner who then runs all the cars
at a given date. After the race, cars are returned to their owners, thus the
need for an entry fee to cover postage costs.
