v An early day layout, fun but not quite satisfying!

v I wanted to see what two corkscrew turns would do … Not great!

v A series of layouts with long straights and twisty infields. The latter ones use 18 R2 curves (30 degree outer curve in the 4 lane sets), since that’s how many of them you get in a 4 lane Artin 1/43 set.

v My current layout, very fun and technical, but not enough long straights so cars never reach top speed.

v The Need for Speed series of layouts, wanted to maximize the straights. I have not tried these.

v Parabolic layouts use combinations of R1 and R2 curves to give what should be real nice turn radii. Parabolic_3 uses intentionally less track so there is room everywhere for one-inch borders and for scenery.

v A layout based on suggestions by people on the chat boards (thanks Rauncy): an outer Oval (almost more of a rectangle) with a road course inscribed inside.

v Based on the same type of layout, a combined course where you can run either the oval only or the road course + the oval simultaneously.

v In line with the previous concept, here is a layout with a true oval combined with a road course and pit lanes. Some of the road course is made to look like lanes 3 and 4 of the oval.

More of the same using that same track piece concept to switch between outer course only or outer course combined with inner course.

Different bases for this layout, uses 22 R2 curves and the pit lane concept with the Artin 1/43 split/join track pieces, offers a nice variety of different and varying radii turns
