Tabatha the Titan 2004 @ UC Davis
 
Here is a slide show of the 2004 flowering of UC Davis' second-ever stinky flower, Amorphophallus titanum. Last year, our corpse flower was named Ted. This year (2004) we brought you Tabatha.

My finger points out the spathe that surrounds the central spadix
A near-mature leaf next to a near-mature flower. Both grow from a stem below.
The base of the leaf (petiole) leads to the much divided leaf blade.
