Discovery Learning is proud to be a Palm Education Training Provider (PETP), one of a select group of training providers and a reseller of Palm™ handheld computers. We are Palm, Inc. Certified Trainers with expertise in the Palm OS operating system as well as years of personal experience as K-12 educators and administrators.
We specialize in the educational application of handheld computers for administration, teaching and learning. Our workshops provide participants with a high quality learning experience specially designed to meet the needs of administrators and teachers using Palm, Inc. handhelds.

A leadership opportunity is available for administrators who are considering handheld computer implementation. Attend a two day academy to obtain the skills necessary to transform schools through systemic change efforts. Experience and become knowledgeable about how handheld technology can enhance teaching and learning.
- Day 1 - Become comfortable using handheld technology, assess current status of school culture for handheld technology.
- Day 2 -
Experience scenarios using handheld technology in different facets of
teaching and learning.
It is highly recommended that individuals wishing to maximize the use of handhelds in support of teaching and learning attend both training days.
Cost: The cost for workshops at your site is $1000 per day plus expenses. Contact us for customized programs, special arrangements and large group presentations.
Participants can provide their own Palm handheld computers for training or purchase one of the Palm handheld models from us. Discovery Learning® provides trainers, learning materials and resources, plus an active, engaging environment that is conducive to successful learning.
