Collect your primary resources
- Take you cameras, note paper, computer, charged
battery, and any other needed supplies with you.
- Eat lunch
- Be back by 12:30 pm
After lunch:
Making the Mess
- Create a folder on the desktop of your computer in
which your pictures will be downloaded
- Download your pictures, view and name the
individual pictures.
- If you took pictures for a panorama, do not name
the 16 panorama pictures. Put them in
their own folder with their original names.
- View your film on the camera or with Studio 8
before capturing the
video.
See what you have.
Take notes.
Storyboard your project
- Number a series of rectangles (to represent frames
or series of video of project) on a piece of paper. Another strategy is
to use Inspiration (or
Kidspiration)
to storyboard your project.
- Create the story to be created together with links
joining frames.
Viewing the video
- Because digital video is extremely large
and there is no place to store captured video until Day 3, we will wait
to capture the video until Day 3. Until then, become very familiar with
what you filmed (by playing it back on your camera) so that you will be
able to capture the desired parts.
- View the video in the camera, making notes of
desired clips.
