When I first planned on coming to Australia many months ago, I orginally never planned on going to New Zealand, and I only planned on spending the majority of my time on the west coast, especially Perth. Now here I was, clear on the other side of the world from the United States, and I had to figure out what I was going to to with myself.

Last Day in Melbourne


Because I only had today to see the city I actually got up early to walk around the town, catch an IMAX movie at the Melbourne museum, and still make it back in time for my 1pm check out.

Melbourne


All I pretty much did was wander the city today. I woke up late, watched some TV, and than headed out to see what I had not seen. The only problem was that it rained. People have told me that in Melbourne you get all four seasons in the day. It is true. At the footy game it went from hot to cold to rainy all in a matter of a couple hours. Today would be no exception.

Another day another near death experience. Today: Hypothermia.


Ok maybe near death may be a little blown out of proportion, but lets review: Car wreck, Snow Storm, Ice Storm, Earthquake, and Hurracine speed winds. And thats all within 3 weeks. Somebody is out to get me.

I really am starting to worry about my safety on this trip. First their was the car wreck, then the snow storm, then ice driving, and now a state of emergency, and I had to fly through it.
