Pixits started as a consultant company back in 1996. The name was Pixels&Bits, beacuse that's what is it all about. To get a shorter and easier name to say the both words "Pixels" and "Bits" were merged into one word "Pixits".
The bits represents the data and the pixels represents the graphics on the screen. This is what computers is all about, present data on the screen in a useful way.

Our slogan is "Where pixels and bits come together".

The assignments have been everything from 3D animations to application programming.
Some examples of our customers:

• Inventor PUAB needed help with product visualization and their web site.
• Sören Berg Arkitekt wanted to build a portal for architects to show their work and build a community.
• PackPojkarna, a packaging company, needed a state of the art web site.
• The Swedish Research and Testing Institute wanted help with an application to analyze non sinusdioal signals.
• Even more people needed and wanted help and got it!

When the new millenium started Apple released the first developer releases of their new operating system MacOS X. This is a very exiting and promising product and we love cool stuff so we decided to look into this OS. The OS has now been out for a while and it's attracting new users to the Mac platform. Our goal is to deliver some cool and useful applications for this new environment.
