Gregor-James at the Clan Gathering The Clan MacLeod World Gathering took place in Christchurch, New Zealand, in October 2003. (Double-click on individual photos, to enlarge them.)

I'm on my way to the Clan Gathering! (Near Arthur's Pass, New Zealand) Could I join the Clan MacLeod Pipe Band? They come from Australia, and so did I! The band let me stand with them! I climbed these volcanic rocks, on the hills overlooking Christchurch. The old castle in the background is a restaurant. We met Chief John MacLeod of MacLeod, who lives in a real castle in Scotland! (Erica embroidered her sweatshirt, which reads "Preod to be a MacLeod")
