LIPTAUER

 

8 ozs Hoope Cheese

1/3 cup Yougurt

1 clove Garlic

1 tbsp Capers

2 tbsp Paprica

1 1/2 tsp Caraway seeds

1/2 tsp Mustard

1 tsp Vegetable Seasoning

Few Grains crushed Red Peppers

2 tbs chopped Green Onions

 

Mix all ingredients.  put in covered container overnight to blend flavors.

 

 

LIPTAUER  2

 

8 ounces nonfat plain yogurt, frozen then thawed

8 ounces low-fat cottage cheese

1 tablespoon Hungarian paprika

1 tablespoon caraway seeds

1 teaspoon onion, grated

4 tablespoons small capers, drained

2 tablespoons chives or scallions, minced

Dash of tamari

Salt and white pepper to taste

 

 

1. Pour thawed yogurt into a sieve lined with cheesecloth, let drain 1 hour.

 

2. Transfer yogurt from sieve to a food processor or blender.  Add cottage cheese and puree until smooth.  Pour into a small bowl and stir in remaing ingredients.

 

3. cover and refrigerate overnight
