Newton's Stowaway

The Palm Stowaway keyboard is one of my favorite gadgets (not the palm tho)... anyhow, I decided that I'd make it work with my Newton... without buy a lovely but expensive adaptor.

Started out with a copper layere sheet of Printed Circuit Board. Found that I could cut it to shape to wedge nicely in the dock connector... The piece. Marked the places for each pin. Cut and filed and scraped the gaps between the pins. Soldered on the wires. Jacked in. Worked! (thanks to Dave Padilla's Driver) First one was ugly, so this was the second (after a couple botched ones.) Cable firmly fixed. Wires patched. Sweeeeet. :D Works too. Look's pro too. Mad props going out to Dave Padilla for writing drivers. YOU ROCK.
