My aim is to provide you with a personal and thorough service. I have respect for the origins of your text: I will ask you whom and from where the text is coming and the nature of its purpose. Translation entails a creative rewriting process: with your target audience in mind, I will transform the original text to be suitable and effective for readers in the target culture. As a mediator in this communication process, I believe it is vital that a translator remains impartial, thus ensuring that your text continues to fulfill its purpose as a translation.
Being a full member, I follow the General Terms of Contract for Translations of the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters.
