Uilleann Pipes
Michael L. Hubbert has been professionally making finely crafted musical instruments
for many years, and is considered a Master Craftsman.Michael is currently making Uilleann Pipes in Concert D, and flat sets. His D chanter design had as its starting point his personal set of pipes by Tadhg Crowley, Cork City, Ireland, c. 1930, and stays fairly close to that design. His Tenor and Baritone drones are fairly close to the Crowley originals, while he uses a Taylor style triple bore bass drone. Regulators are a direct evolution from his Crowleys.
