To look at something as though we had never seen it before requires great courage.
--Henry Matisse

Hello,

I try to approach every assignment with the philosophy of Henry Matisse. I want to maintain freshness in all that I do.

The transformation life creates for us is amazing, I started out as a fine artist and then entered the commercial world of art. I never realized that this was just the foundation of where I would end up and what I was about to become!

Photography is my life; its not what I do, but what I am about. When I picked up that first real 35mm back in 1986, a miracle occurred. I discovered a part of me that I didnt know existed. All that I had learned about fine arts and advertising design was to be merged together into photography.

Technology in this industry is amazing, everyday it seems to change. I pride myself on keeping up with the learning curve, staying aware of trends and new techniques. My goal is to offer my client all of this knowledge and to make their image totally unique.

Everyday is a new and exciting challenge, on a location shoot or seeking out and scheduling assignments with new clients, there is not a dull moment. I love it all!

In my spare time, I work on my own creating portraits, capturing wedding moments and documenting events.

Take a moment and review my work!!
