southern california, no less, where it never
rains and the sun always
shines.
but this will be no vacation. i will be in
california on very serious business, speaking to the 60th annual conference of
medical illustrators. i'll share the moving tale of a failed medical illustrator
who had to turn to a career in cartooning in order to provide for her
family.
