Eastham Court

Also known as, or recorded in historical documents as; Estham

In the civil parish of Eastham. In the historic county of Worcestershire (Modern Authority of Worcestershire, 1974 county of Hereford and Worcester).

A licence to crenellate was granted to Walter Huwet for 'Estham' in 1369. This has been incorectly identified as the manor house at East Ham, but in fact the Eastham licenced was in Worcestershire.
In 1366 Sir Walter Hewet, William de la More, parson of Eastham, and others obtained licence to enlarge their park at Eastham by the addition of 300 acres. (VCH -ref. Register of Lewis de Charlton (Cantilupe Soc.), p63). Presumably a moated house on, or near, the site of Eastham Court. The PastScape record records this as a site of a moat.

This site has been described as a;
Fortified Manor House.

The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Possible.

Nothing visible remains.
