In the civil parish of Slough. In the historic county of Buckinghamshire (Modern Authority of Slough, 1974 county of Berkshire).

This site has been described as a;
Palace.
  Confidence: It is probable that this site was a medieval fortification or palace.   Nothing visible remains.
Royal manor near Windsor. There was a Manor House at Parlaunt Manor in the parish of Langley Marish by 1536-7. Elizabeth I is said to have been nursed here. The park is now obliterated by commercial and housing developments although the boundary can still be seen in the curve of Common Road. The farmhouse was demolished in about 1940 when the land was in the ownership of Hawker Aircraft who built the Hurricane fighter plane there during World War Two. In 1352, Lord Neville surrendered this manor to the king, who the next year granted it to his newly endowed college at Windsor. The dean and chapter reconveyed it to the crown, in the reign of Henry VIII and received other lands in exchange. King Edward VI gave it to Lord Paget. (Derived from Harris)
