Copford Hall

In the civil parish of Copford. In the historic county of Essex (Modern Authority of Essex, 1974 county of Essex).

Recorded in SMR and PastScape as Mid C18 rebuilding of an earlier house and site of Bishops Palace prior to 1561. VCH records manor as held by see of London but makes no mention of palace here.
