Hawridge Court

Also known as, or recorded in historical documents as; Hawridge Court Farm

In the civil parish of Cholesbury Cum St Leonards. In the historic county of Buckinghamshire (Modern Authority of Buckinghamshire, 1974 county of Buckinghamshire).

Medieval ringwork, also interpreted as a moated manor-house situated within the garden of Hawridge Court Farm whose house occupies part of the site. The oval ringwork is internally some 60m north east to south west by 50m transversely. It is bounded by a rampart with an average height of 2m and outer ditch of similar size. A gap and causeway through the defences in the east probably represents an original entrance.

This site has been described as a;
Timber Castle.

The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Possible.

Earthworks remains.

This site is a scheduled monument protected by law.
