The Castles of Gwent, Glamorgan & Gower
This is a fairly comprehensive guide to the castles and fortified houses of South East Wales. The detail on individual sites is good, although many minor sites are just listed. The book is well illustrated and the plan and diagrams are very good, but is let down by a tendency for map references to be inaccurate and by an ugly typeface.
