Steven Dennis - Illustrator
I studied illustration at Parson's School of Design in New York City. And that was also when I was introduced to the Buddhism of Nichiren and joined the Soka Gakkai. As an art student, all too aware of so many tragic life stories of many of my favorite artists, I saw myself following a similar path. I truly believe encountering the Gohonzon enabled me to dramatically transform my life.
In my work, my focus is upon the inner life of each individual I portray.
