WHALE WATCHING
We board a Blue
Dolphin catamaran for two hours of watching humpbacks, eating pupus and seeing
the sunset. We sail from Port
Allen.

The crew is fun
and the ride refreshing, but the whales are not active. We come across a couple of year-old
males, but they stay at a distance.
First we see a spout, then a back, and lastly a tail.

We pull into Lawai
Bay to look at the beach. This is
the location of Allerton Garden.
The boat rests here awhile so we can take pictures.

Further along the
south coast we see the resort where we are staying.

The sunset has
some color, but is hampered by low clouds in the distance.
