FRIENDS IN KONA

We drive to the University of the Nations in Kona to see

Norma Olson (who is teaching ESL) and Cliff and Beryl Moon.

We find Cliff supervising the pouring of concrete.

He has been on campus since November, in charge of constructing a

large outdoor pavilion.  It will be used for meetings and for sports.

These workers are all volunteers from various countries.

Norma and Beryl and I watch from the sidelines.  Later we all have a

wonderful evening together in an Italian restaurant.  Norma drives

us in the red convertible that someone has loaned her.
