NORTH HAWAII

We are told that at the far north end of the Big Island we can

see amazing cliffs.  We drive out the road that was indicated to us

on the map.  Here is Phil turning around at the end of the road.

The view is not cliffs, but it is nice.  If there were no

clouds, we would be able to see Maui.

This is ranch land, as much of the island seems to be.

We realize that the cliffs are down a different road, but Phil

is tired of driving.  We return to the nearby town of Hawi ("w" says "v")

and wander around a little before returning to Kona.
