Magnetic B6 Letter Card Sets

A slide show of Magnetic Letter Cards, in three levels, for class instruction in basic decoding and blending.

There are 3 levels of the Magnet Letter Cards. All cards are in learner font, the cards with red borders are vowel letters. The levels are: White (at bottom), Yellow, and Yellow/Green. Each card is laminated in a full 134X188 mm pouch, with magnet sheet inside. The cards are B6 size, for class instruction on any magnetic surface. The level 1 set (White) is used for making basic C-V-C patterns. Random or real words can be displayed, for decoding and blending practice. The size is large, and the magnet sheet allows easy arrangement on the board. Each card can be cleaned with wet towels to keep the magnetic strength. The level 2 set (Yellow) has more consonants, final ~y, and 'magic e' cards. The 'an' and 'am' blend sounds are also included. With the Yellow Set, 'magic e' and final ~y patterns can be displayed. The White and Yellow Sets are enough for basic phonics training. The level 3 set (Yellow/Green) has final ~le and consonant digraphs sh, ch, th. Also, several double consonant patterns are in this set. Used with the lower sets, multiple syllable patterns can be shown. Also, the effect of two consonants on a magic e pattern can be shown. The Magnet Letter cards add color and neatness to phonics teaching.
