Coming into Ban Phu Khun_____All Photos ©Peter Whittlesey

Two of our group were Hmong sisters and we spent one night in their uncle's village close to Ban Phu Khun half way to Luang Prabang

Laos AdVenture Study Tour is featured on this Vang Vieng billboard!

A family walking back to their village along the Nam Song River

I was constantly stopping our van so we could take more photos. Gorgeous!

The interplay of the rice paddies, blue sky, white clouds and green mountains...

A group photo as we begin to head up the mountains towards Ban Phu Khun

Mountain scenery, so refreshing clean after the smoke and haze of the hot season

We saw many rainbows and this was one I will remember well

Now you can see the rainbow as we saw it from the ridgetop of Ban Phu Khun

While driving can be slow, the chance to experience Laos first hand is worth it.

The road always was winding its way through many small villages.

Sharing a wonderful meal at Xong and Kou's uncle's with a little Lao lao too!

The tour group that sleeps together, bonds together!

For Anne Frank staying in this welcoming Hmong home was one of the highlights
