The Silver Society in Ghent

On May 13 the Silver Society of Belgium visited the workshop in Ghent of Siegfried De Buck, leading Belgian maker of silverware.

Members listen to Siegfried De Buck describe his aims and ideals. Mr. De Buck shows how his "table for tools" has hidden drawers for cutlery. Admiring a design for cutlery. The table is made of aluminium and silver. A display of some of the work. Mrs. De Buck describes the pieces. The setting is a fine old townhouse. Trying on a ring in the workshop.
