The Only Mathematical Equation That Makes Me Laugh Out Loud


 


Though for its true wonderfulness I am indebted to Ayn Rand--actually to Steve Ditko, whose Mr. A is vastly superior to those huge turgid books with no pictures. Without them and their bankrupt tautology, it might no be as delightful (and I might never have thought of it), but once you think about, you'll see that it is the Meaning O' Life. The Universe, and Everything, and embodies all philosophy, sums up the human condition, and is probably on the T-Shirt God wears.

It is:

Hand me the coffee mug; Put it on my gravestone. This is as good as it gets.
And stop looking at me like that.
