Steinberg Reacts to Apple-Emagic Deal
HAMBURG, Germany, Jul. 02, 2002
-- Steinberg, creator of the music recording and editing programs Cubase SX and Nuendo, wasted no time in preparing an upgrade program to Cubase SX from Emagic's Logic following the announcement that Apple Computer was buying Emagic and suspending Windows development of the program in September.

Danny Davis writes that he received FileMaker Pro 6 today, although Apple hadn't announced it yet:
Just an update on my order for FileMaker Pro. We received version 6 via FedEx this morning, though FileMaker's web site still shows 5.5.
