AES Conference to Focus on Multichannel Audio

Dolby, Texas Instruments Collaborate
San Francisco (March 19, 2003)--Dolby Laboratories and Texas Instruments
(TI) have jointly sponsored the design and development of a device that
allows consumers to easily connect PCs with 1394 connectors to their home

AACelerator 1.0 encodes audio files into MPEG-4 Advanced Audio Codec (AAC) audio files using QuickTime 6 Pro (which is required). Features include encoding of entire folders, drag-and-drop encoding, QuickTime annotations (ID3 tags), and an option to embed both basic and optimized hinted streaming tracks for the QuickTime Streaming Server.
