| There are not many churches that can claim a real historic connection with their patron saint. At Saint Chad's we can do just this. So it's not surprising that the occasion of Saint Chad's Day will not pass unobserved at St. Chad's Church, especially as March 2nd 1972 is the 1300th anniversary of Saint Chad's death in A.D. 672. There will be Parish Communion at 7.30 pm. We shall be delighted to see members of the Parish Church congregation with us to mark the occasion. |
| St. Chad's would also like to draw your attention to the St. Chad's Dinner which is being held at St. Chad's on Tuesday, 15th February, 7.45 pm for 8 pm. Tickets for this are 89p. The Dinner will be followed by entertainment and dancing. |
