| May I draw your attention to the special arrangements for Sunday July 1st, the day of Mr. Emerson's ordination. There will be the usual 8 am celebration of Holy Communion at St. Mary's, There will be no Parish Communion at St. Mary's nor a celebration at St. Chad's that morning. The bus will leave for Lincoln at 9 am with the service starting at 10.30 am. Please remember Mr. Emerson in your prayers at this time. I hope that there will be a handsomely large congregation for the Parish Communion on the following day at 7.30 pm - the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Mr. Emerson will celebrate at the service for the first time. |
