It is now exactly a year since I took over as choirmaster, and it has certainly been an eventful year. We have streamlined our organisation a little, with each member having a personal set of music and a printed music list each month. Our two Coffee Evenings have been highly successful, and have contributed, I hope, to the social life of the Church. The proceeds from these (£136) have been spent on replacing the older robes, and on buying books and music. We are now the possessors of 50 new anthem books - the contents of which should keep us busy for some time! Our total membership has remained at about 45, with one or two comings and goings. Although we are at the moment near the limit for younger members, we should be pleased to welcome any adults who would like to join us.
