Introducing...The Burks Country Store!
Chaplain Smith is setting up a country store on FOB Prosperity, called “Burks Country Store,” in memory of Pete! It will be open on Christmas Eve. Soldiers from the whole base and surrounding bases/FOBs will be able to come by and get whatever their hearts desire for free - from food to Christian inspiration to things to keep them entertained.

What can we send to pete's guys?
Feel free to be creative with packages. In addition to food, which the soldiers are getting lots of thanks to your amazing generosity, you can also send things to keep them entertained, including, but not limited to: XBox 360 games, DVDs, iPods and music.
As far as food goes, anything non perishable can go to the troops. Think of the comfort food you would miss most if you were over there, as well as things that will be easy for the soldiers to grab and take on patroll.
No weapons, booze, pork byproducts, or obscene images. |
