We have picked up two messages from Tina. The first was sent already the 14th of March on the way to Cocos Islands. The second message she sent from Cocos itself. Links here and here

Six more days have past since Tina and her party probably reached the Cocos Islands. According to the original plans they are now bouncing their waves towards Galapagos. As soon as any sign is heard from the old Hallberg Rassy it will be immediately published here at Expedition Micronesia. If you have a rumor, mail, or message-in-a-bottle from Filos II, you know what to do!

Six days have already passed since Tina and skipper Florian set sails and left Panama for the big journey over the ocean.

It is likely that Tina and Florian already arrived in the Cocos Islands. The cross-over was estimated to take 5 days but sonce the islands probably do not have available internet we cannot be sure. We can probably be sure than she is enjoying herself. Since Cocos is famous for its diving we can also assume that she haws checked out the reefs.

They plan to be there for 5 days and then spend the following 4 days sailing to Galapagos. That means around March 19 but since when did schedules begin to match the reality?

• A letter written by Tina on March 4, just before she left Panama, has arrived and been published. There she outlines the plans and reflects on their preparations and potential obstacles.

• Remember the one-day adventure on Isla Pedro Gonzales when Tina and Nathalie got lost? Pictures from that day's events have been added to the Feb 21 Adventure Special.

Pictures, pictures, pictures are the three most common requests here.

• More pix have been added to the February 25 page, where Tina wrote about the sailing adventures between March 16-23 on the islands off Panama.
