Packing – What do you bring on a trip with a one-way ticket?
Nail polish, 15 kg of diving equipment and a whole lot of electric cables…
It’s all a matter of where you lay your priorities, and how much you’re willing to massacre your own back! It’s a challenge to start packing for half a year (?) when the background level is already fixed at 15 kg… But when I see the 200 hammerheads schooling outside Galapagos, it will have been worth every single drop of sweat, even if they were enough to fill the entire South Pacific Ocean! – That is, if at the same time I will have found an air compressor and a tank so that I can see them from below the surface and not from above. In the latter case I will be sending poisonous glares at my dusty, useless pile of dive gear! I sure hope that Nail polish will not be the only useful thing I bring along!
