EDITORIAL
Words have been the primary focus of my career; I have held positions as editor, journalist, columnist, and writing teacher.

As a writer, I have tried my hand at a wide range of genres, from hard news reporting to soft features, from legal and medical journals to ad and catalog copy. I have been typing away on a couple of books, one of which has an agent working hard to sell it.

As an editor, I encourage clarity and, above all, getting to the point quickly and firmly. I try to impart to writers both the confidence to express themselves and the tools to to do it well.
