We can help you prepare for your goals through learning
Leadership Development
Leadership Development includes courses, working retreats where leadership is the topic, and coaching sessions for managers. Topics include personal development, team development specific for management teams (as opposed to project teams), strategic planning, life-work balance, and others.
Example: Pelerei has designed and participated in a leadership development program for a 20- member management team. The activities have included content delivery, facilitation of work sessions for applying the content to real management issues, and individual coaching activities.
Some courses given by Pelerei are: The Power of Personal Effectiveness in Team Work, Communication and Performance, and Coping in the New Workplace.
Skills Training
When a particular capability is needed, skill training is called for. Pelerei's emphasis is in those skills that support learning design, presentation, and knowledge management.
Example: Pelerei regularly presents a workshop on effective delivery that guides experts on how to best design and deliver their own workshops in ways to focus on the audience learning rather than on the presentation of detailed expertise of the presenter. To maximize and customize learning, individual coaching is a feature of this workshop done after the group session.
A second example is a newly developed workshop that assists knowledge workers to develop their own personal knowledge game plan – one that will help them achieve personal as well as business goals for remaining current in their field(s) and to perform with excellence.
Some courses give by Pelerei are:Effective Learning Delivery and Informed Enough to Excel.
Distance Learning Design
Distance learning is more than computer-assisted training, it is more than video conferences or broadcast transmissions. It involves thinking about how the individual, not supported by the classroom discipline, becomes and remains engaged in learning. It involves many technologies, as well as good knowledge of human dynamics.
Example: Pelerei has designed a distance learning course to help students become effective information mediators. The course involves using video conferences, video streams, individual exercises, and small group exercises to be done at remote sites, as well as regular communication with the instructor via email.
Creativity
The New Economy demands new thinking. Creativity is something that each of us have. It is a matter of awakening it. All of Pelerei's courses include exercises that stretch the imagination and stimulate creative thinking. Participants are encouraged to explore new thinking in a non-judgmental environment created throughout the learning experience.
