Where are we located?:
We're in Orange County, California. Yes, it's mostly sunny (as long as you don't count the Santa Ana Winds, the occasional hail storm, and the wonky weather these days). Yes, we do have earthquakes and No, it's not like the OC on TV. It's way better dude!
All the Juicy Details
We are two fun and imaginative artists (What? I'm painting a picture of who we are, ok?) who make up PeachPoPs. The ever talented Melinda and then of course there's me, Melissa. California natives. Born and raised!
Now, I suppose I could bore you with educational backgrounds, resume details, and the like. We are both educated and have done other things other than being artists. Yet, somehow we always had art stored deep inside and we finally let our "inner artists" escape full-time around the year 2000. This choice seemed serendipitous.
Luckily, our pedigrees (I did say we're animal people, right?) indicate we've got art in our bloodlines (literally, after a couple of mishaps with rogue paint bottles, but I digress, that's for another tale).
The point is, I think you get to know an artist through their art. Either you like their art or you don't. I'm hoping it's not the latter. But it is that simple and that straight-forward. And I really like that about art.
Our enthusiasm is defined by one word. Animals. From our icons to our paintings, we hope PeachPoPs make your walls and desktops smile!
