I ran across the term, "German
Silver."
It is a mixture of nickel, copper, and zinc. It contains no silver. It rather sounds like a national slur, as in the "Scottish Whistle."
This can go on the list of "Things I've Learned Today."
It has been an eventful day. My 7th grade daughter was a student judge in her class mock trial, at the Federal Courthouse. Afterwards, I had to give her the $10 she needed for the 'Bash In The Grass," the impending year-end after-school party back at the school. Not everyone can say that they gave money to a judge in a federal courtroom.
My new boots came in to the Portland Outdoor Store. Fit right on the first try. These are very tall boots.
