Why Are We Not Surprised?

Ivy Leaguers were evacuated first from Lebanon by private security firms, while students from other schools had to wait days for the United States Embassy to make arrangements, according to ABC News.

So here's a question for you. Remember those private security firms, on government (DHS) contracts, who showed up in New Orleans after Katrina. Were they protecting particular private assets at government expense?
