My Nightmare Scenario



When I heard that Bush and Rove were simultaneously voicing (I know some think that physically impossible) la belle indifference about their upcoming election fortunes, my heart sank.

Uh-oh. They're going to flip the vote.

Then they will paper this fraud with claims that George is a stay-the-course genius. O ye of little faith.

Karl told NPR that he sees race-by-race polls which aren't available to the general public.

I'm looking at 68 polls a week. You may be looking at four or five public polls a week that talk about attitudes nationally, but that do not impact the outcome -...

...Look, I'm looking at all these Robert and adding them up. And I add up to a Republican Senate and a Republican House. You may end up with a different math, but you're entitled to your math. I'm entitled to "the" math.

You've got to know which races to flip.

Sure hope I'm wrong.
