Latest release, JShell 2000, with many enhancements, AppleScript support, new icon, etc. You can currently download JShell in several formats: binary distribution for Mac OS, includes precompiled .jar & .jxe files, JBindery JShell application for MRJ, in Stuffit format. binary distribution for Linux, in .jar format, includes all of above, and a simple shell script, jshell.sh. You'll need to edit the script to get it running on your system. JShell 2000 works with JDK 1.1.8. As the use of Java2 becomes more widespread, efforts will be made to make JShell compatible.
