I didn't really believe in shorts to start with, after all, who gets to see them anyway. But then I worked out that everyone who's directed a big film, directed several little ones first. So I started making them. I suppose I've done around 18 so far, most with Group 101 Films. Before the end of the year, I'll have done at least 9 more.

They seem to play better in Netscape Navigator. For some reason you have to wait for the whole clip to download in Explorer before they play and the AOL Browser ain't to hot either. Oh well. Have fun.

A scary short film about what really scared us all as children.
"Sex Gone Wrong"

This month's 101 theme was "Technical Snaffu", so Lori Petro and I
wandered down to Melrose to içgate. 90% of the folk we spoke
to were boring and had nothing to say, but we did find a few.

Who knew there was so little sex in LA.
"True Story"

This is 12 minutes long and fairly small on the screen, but I promise you it's a fine piece of filmmaking.

This was my 3rd film for Group 101. I decided not to do a comedy even though the theme was "Death".
I asked my friend Sarah to come over and be interviewed. I did not know the story beforehandçry moving
and she tells it well. Thank you Sarah. The "Paine" Sarah refers to is not me. If there are no tears
present at the end of this, check for a pulse.

"You Put What Where?"

Featuring the fabulous Stacey Webb
and the almost as fabulous Eric Johnson.
"Tiny Tortures"

I shot and edited this one. It was directed by
Eric Johnson. It was his first project for Group 101 Films
"Blue"

What's up your butt, Sylvia?
My first 101 project.

"Nuthin' on Andy Dick"

SoFonda is an alter ego of Julie. Beware. SoFonda will get you f****d up !!!

Written and Conceived by the fabulous Julie Marques. Starring Julie Marques and Eric "Not Gay" Johnson.

"Ass Finger" An emotional tale by the spectacular Michelle H,
a truely talented actress.

All mail to me about this film will be passed on to Mich.
"Future Fix"

This was the first short I did. It's plot is a little complicated for the internet and iFilm digitized it a little dark, but give it a shot. And pay attention.

"A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints"

Shot in downtown LA just the other day. It is a teezer for a feature film. Please don't call Frank the dog walker.

"Coyote Ugly"

The latest Group101 project needed to be about "Pain", so here it is. It's a spec commercial. Pay attention.
