Concorde comes home to Filton, Bristol
The cast of "Concorde Stories", a community musical about the people involved with her, was invited to serenade the Silver Bird's last touchdown.

Queueing for refreshments, before we found they were free!
Hurried consumption, before a quick rehearsal of "Silver Bird".
Crowds at Filton.
Concorde's first overflight, before a quick tour around Bristol.
Filton's PRU Spitfire Mk. XIX about to keep the crowds entertained.
Would you want to fly into clouds like that?
Taking off...
Starting a low flypast.
Dramatic backdrop.
This is my new desktop background!
Filton laid on a rainbow specially for the occasion.
Here she comes...
Getting closer...
...and closer...
The final touchdown!
On her way to meet the thousands of spectators.
A nice profile shot.
Nose starting to drop...
...and all the way down.
Waving the flag!
Ready for disembarkation.
Preparing for her guests.
Microphones for the distinguished speakers.
Is someone coming out?
One for Peter.
The Lady Mayoress of Bristol, and HRH Prince Andrew (extreme right).
Who dat man?
I don't know who it is...
Rick Hanratty, looking like one of the Prince's bodyguards!
Prince Andrew and Captain Bannister.
Me and my daughter, Catriona.
Prince Andrew and Captain Les Brodie.
Just a nice shot.
