I got into climbing in Scotland. My main thing is trad routes outdoors, but I get along to an indoor wall (normally the Warehouse in Gloucester) .
I climbed in Scotland until the mid Eighties. There was a big gap, then got back into the indoor thing when the Warehouse opened in Glos early Nineties. Soon we had a regular group and weekend sessions were happening all over the country. I did some alpine stuff in the US late Nineties.
The climbing just gets better and better, with continuing trad, indoors, alpine and ice. Not very often, but always great fun.
