The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal ordered that
the Respondent, of HM Prison, should be struck off the roll for unbefitting
conduct in that he had been convicted of the manslaughter of his wife...it
considered that a conviction for so serious an offence as manslaughter could not
be reconciled with maintenance of the profession's
reputation.
Really?
